Friday, September 5 the East Prairie Eagles Football team will take the field to face the visiting Grandview Eagles. After a promising performance against the Hayti Indians, the Eagles hope to improve and give the hometown fans a win. A stellar offensive performance by MC Williams is expected after gaining 147 yards on 30 carries in the first game of the season. The Eagles defense hopes to continue improving after an enthusiastic performance which saw the Eagle defenders coming up just short on some defensive plays. Dakota Kersey led the Eagle defense with nine tackles. Come on out to the Eagle Nest and sit in the shadow of the new press box and support our Eagles!
